The Student Employability Index from the National Centre of Universities and Business provides an in depth view of employment prospects and experiences.
It is a useful resource for both universities and business to better understand student expectations and experience in relation to the transition from study to the world of work.
The 2015 Student Employability Index collated 115,000 student views from 55 universities and enables a better understanding of the views of students, allowing providers to ensure they are meeting the needs of students as best they can.
The National Centre is committed to working with both business and academia to ensure students are supported to move from study to employment, and we are delighted that so many of our members have wonderful examples of how they continue to innovate in the provision of work experience, and the development of skills for the world of work. Students want their universities to continue to work in partnership with a range of business to help augment their curriculum and provide more opportunities for them to learn about life after higher education. This research provides a valuable resource for all those with an interest in employability to gain further insight.
