Researchers across the UK should be empowered to move between industry and academia throughout their whole career to stimulate innovation and growth. But too often silos and barriers halt inter-sectoral career moves and collaboration.
One year on from the launch of the 2023 Researcher Mobility Taskforce, we were joined by researchers and thought leaders from across the innovation system to explore why now, in the early days of a new government, removing barriers to cross-sector careers is so important.
