NCUB hosted a short series of roundtables and dinners across the UK in January, February and March 2025.
With private R&D investment and innovation the critical drivers of economic growth, these discussions explored how we can best leverage public sector investment to boost private sector spending and outcomes.
In 2024, NCUB formed a business-led taskforce chaired by Sir John Manzoni, Dame Nancy Rothwell and Sir Jon Symonds, to understand the challenges and constraints that businesses encounter in the UK. The taskforce will deliver a clear set of recommendations to the Government in spring 2025.
These sessions aimed at senior business leaders and other key stakeholders. Attendees were able to review early findings and help refine recommendations for the report.
