What does it mean for universities and businesses?

NCUB hosted a webinar on 5 November, from 12 noon – 1pm, to reflect on announcements made in this first fiscal event of the new Government. We focused on what the Budget means for the UK’s research and innovation system and for the education and skills system. Both are key pillars of future economic growth.

We were joined by an expert panel of senior university and business representatives who discussed whether the Autumn Budget has changed their perceptions of the UK as an environment to innovate. They shared their thoughts on what further action is needed to help universities and businesses build a more sustainable and productive economy.
