NCUB’s submission ahead of the 2020 Spending Review focused on the Government’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The document called for urgent action to address growing youth unemployment and increased investment in research and innovation. For the longer term, the submission argues for the need to move the economy to more research intensive industries and action to respond to the fast changing labour market.
