This publication includes updated metrics on progress in collaboration between universities, business and government:
- Industry income for Knowledge Exchange increased from £845 million in 2013 to £897 million in 2014
- Universities registered 81,706 interactions with small and medium-sized businesses in 2014, and increase of 22% from the previous year
- The number of grants with academic partners awarded by Innovate UK has been growing steadily, reaching 571 in 2014
