Response to the House of Commons’ Education Committee’s ‘Higher Education and Funding’ inquiry

This is our response to the House of Commons’ Education Committee inquiry into Higher Education and Funding: Threat of Insolvency and International Students.

Our response outlines that UK universities are one of the UK’s greatest strategic assets, driving research, innovation, skills development, business collaboration, and local economic growth however they face growing financial pressures. We also highlighted that the importance of universities to local areas and that they are increasingly reliant on international student income due to frozen domestic tuition fees.
