The Northern Irish Collaboration Progress Monitor assesses progress across four categories: Income, Partnerships, Flow of Knowledge and Enterprise Activity.

The 2014 trends in these categories are:

Income – HE income from Knowledge Exchange with industry remains broadly static
Partnerships – Increasing number of deals with SMEs and large business
Flow of knowledge – Graduate employment in innovative sectors stays stable
Enterprise activity – The number of licences granted stays stable, but the income from licences rose
