The Office for Students ran a consultation entitled “regulating quality and standards in higher education” and NCUB submitted a response.

The consultation sought views on a proposed new defintion of quality and standards and a metric that bases quality on the numbers of students who complete a course and their employment outcomes. NCUB argued against this, raising concern that it might have adverse affects related to equality, diversity and inclusion.
