The National Centre for Universities and Business (NCUB) has submitted its response to the Government’s Spending Review 2025.

NCUB welcomes the Government’s focus on growth but urges it to take a
holistic approach to its stimulation. The persistent issue of low productivity and
economic growth in the UK is widely acknowledged as a multifaceted challenge
deeply intertwined with various factors, including inadequate planning, skills
and capability challenges, and infrastructure deficiencies – alongside insufficient
public and private investment.
