This NCUB report is the first of three in a series based on earlier NCUB research that explored the characteristics needed to form a successful Knowledge-Transfer Partnership (KTP), commissioned by Innovate UK and Research Councils UK.
It shows how the various players, systems and processes within the KTP programme contribute to the success of individual KTP partnerships and projects. In particular, it identfies the barriers to successful KTPs and how they can be overcome.
