Input to the Scottish Government call for evidence for the Innovation Strategy

NCUB has submitted evidence to the Scottish Government’s Call for Evidence into an Innovation Strategy.

The Call for Evidence sought input on how to achieve a ten-year vision to transform Scotland’s innovation ecosystem through the promotion of ‘world leading excellence and expertise’, ‘investing in innovative business’, ‘adoption and diffusion of technology’, the ‘role of the public sector and procurement’ and ‘innovation infrastructure and architecture.’

NCUB’s submission focused the role of business-university collaboration in achieving this vision. This drew on analysis undertaken in the production of the 2016 Growing Value Scotland Task Force and 2022’s The Changing State of Business-University Interactions in the UK.
