The National Centre for Universities and Business (NCUB) welcomes the government response to Dame Ann Dowling’s review of business-university research collaboration.

Dr David Docherty, Chief Executive, National Centre for Universities and Business, said:

“The Dowling Review stressed the importance of opening up opportunities to collaborate with the research base. And in particular stressed that SMEs could reap enormous benefits. Digital platforms are central to modern networking and to helping SMEs and universities to connect to and partner with each other, and we are delighted that konfer.online, our innovation brokerage platform developed with HEFCE and the Research Councils, is highlighted in the government’s response to the Dowling Review, and we look forward to working with partners to increase the impact of the research base in 2017.”
