This is an executive summary of a report from the Association of Graduate Recruiters (AGR), the Council for Industry and Higher Education (now NCUB) and CFE Research and Consulting. These three organisations came together in 2011 to explore the topic of global graduate employability, and to discover how UK universities work with businesses to ensure that future graduates meet the expectations of global and international employers.
This report focuses on what employers and universities understand to be global skills, and asks how such skills can be developed. The report is based on consultations with large transnational employers, higher education institutions and policy makers, and includes insights from existing literature.
