Collaborating for future generations of entrepreneurs

Baroness Evans of Bowes Park announced yesterday in the House of Lords that the number of graduate start-ups has doubled since 2009/10, and a recent survey recorded 4,600 new businesses started by graduates in 2013/14.

The joint efforts of many organisations, including our members and public funders, have contributed to this extremely positve change and the NCUB will continue to champion entrepreneurial engagement between businesses and univeristies.

We are pleased to note Baroness Evans’ support: “The Government is championing closer collaboration between universities and business through the National Centre for Universities and Business which is supported by HEFCE, the Research Councils and Innovate UK.”
