This report is an edited version of a speech given by Jeremy Darroch, Chief Executive of Sky, at the CIHE (now NCUB) Annual Conference. He examines how the next generation of leaders will need to be rounded individuals with lifelong skills such as team working and leadership as well as formal qualifications.
Darroch argues that businesses and educators must work together in partnership to develop these skills in young people. Emphasising the importance of lifelong learning, he sets out how leadership development operates at Sky.
