CW (Cambridge Wireless) is working in partnership with National Centre member Magna International, one of the largest global manufacturers of automotive components, to create the Discovering Automotive Start-Ups Competition.

Ten innovative start-ups will be selected from the entrants to present their disruptive technologies and business plans to senior Magna representatives at the CW Future of Wireless International Conference on 21 June 2016.

Discovering Automotive Start-Ups presents an unparalleled opportunity for innovative start-ups and research institutions to accelerate their growth in the fast-changing and dynamic automotive industry with the support and backing of Magna, one of the biggest names in the business.

Of the ten short-listed finalists each will receive a free two-day entry to the FWIC 2016 Conference at the IET London: Savoy Place on 21-22 June, worth £395.

During the pitch at the Future of Wireless Conference on 21 June, one winner will be selected and be presented with:

  • £5,000 prize
  • CW Founder Membership for one year
  • Fast track entry into the final of the CW (Cambridge Wireless) Annual Discovering Start-Ups competition, which will take place at Deloitte on 19 October 2016
