Showcasing Collaboration

NCUB’s overarching aim is to promote, develop and support university-business collaboration across the UK. To that end, we also celebrate and showcase the UK's world leading collaborations.

Through our success stories and quarterly showcasing booklets, we aim to inspire institutions in the UK and abroad to realise the potential of university-business partnerships and begin their own.

If you have a great example of university-business collaboration, whether it’s been publicised before or not, then we’d love to share through our channels. Get in touch

Success stories

Success Stories are case studies of university-business collaboration that showcase best practice amongst our members and partners.

Success stories can cover the full range of university-business partnerships, from knowledge transfer to work-based courses and joint facilities, to act as inspiration for others to start their own.

Why submit a Success Story?

A NCUB Success Story is the best way to show the world that your organisation is active in university-business collaboration.

Success Stories are usually taken from existing case study material or written by one of the participating organisations, with some written by NCUB. Success Stories are typically around 500 words.

Showcasing booklets

Through our quarterly ‘Showcasing Collaboration’ series, we celebrate and share the best of NCUB member collaborations under different themes. Each quarter, we feature ten examples from across the UK to demonstrate the scale and scope of these powerful partnerships.

So far we have celebrated the collaborations formed at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have showcased partnerships formed to help alleviate various skills shortages, we have published examples of how universities and businesses have promoted sustainability and how their innovations will deliver food security in the future. The list of topics is always growing.
