The relationships between companies and academic institutions known as Knowledge Transfer Partnerships are designed to support the formal sharing of knowledge, technology and skills. Such partnerships can play a crucial role in managing successful collaboration.
The Technology Strategy Board and UK Research Councils commissioned the Council for Industry and Higher Education (now NCUB) to explore the characteristics needed to form a successful Knowledge-Transfer Partnership. This report details 10 key research findings, highlighting the actions needed to support effective Partnership.
